Showroom Visit Policy
At The Reformer Shop, we want your showroom visit to be a relaxed, informative and personalised experience. Our appointments give you the opportunity to see, feel and try our Pilates equipment in person, compare options and discuss which equipment may best suit your home, studio and individual requirements.
By booking and attending a showroom appointment with The Reformer Shop, you agree to the following conditions.
Purpose of Your Visit
A showroom appointment provides an opportunity to:
- View and experience our range of Pilates equipment and accessories.
- Try selected equipment before making a purchasing decision.
- Compare models, features, finishes and available customisation options.
- Ask questions and receive general information and guidance regarding our products.
A showroom appointment is not a Pilates class, training session, medical consultation or substitute for instruction from a suitably qualified Pilates or healthcare professional.
Health & Safety
Your safety is important to us. Before using any equipment, please advise The Reformer Shop staff of any injury, physical limitation or other circumstance that may affect your ability to safely use the equipment.
Visitors must follow all instructions provided by our staff when testing equipment and should only perform movements they are comfortable and familiar with.
Testing or using equipment during a showroom appointment is undertaken at your own risk and within your own capabilities.
Appointments & Cancellations
Showroom visits are by appointment only so we can provide you with dedicated time and personalised assistance.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice wherever possible.
Showroom Conduct
To maintain a safe and welcoming environment:
- Visitors must follow staff instructions when using or testing equipment.
- Equipment and showroom property must be treated with reasonable care.
- Shoes must be removed and socks must be worn when testing Pilates equipment.
- Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times and are not permitted to climb, play on or operate the equipment.
- Equipment should only be adjusted or operated in accordance with staff instructions.
- Unsafe, inappropriate, disruptive or disrespectful behaviour may result in the appointment being ended.
The Reformer Shop reserves the right to prevent the use of equipment where we reasonably believe it may be unsafe to do so.
Personal Belongings
Visitors are responsible for their own personal belongings while attending the showroom. The Reformer Shop accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged personal property except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Liability
While reasonable care is taken to provide a safe showroom environment, visitors are responsible for using equipment appropriately, following staff instructions and remaining within their own physical capabilities.
To the extent permitted by law, The Reformer Shop is not responsible for injury, loss or damage arising from inappropriate, unauthorised or unsafe use of equipment during a showroom visit.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable Australian legislation.
Our Showroom Experience
We believe choosing Pilates equipment should be a personal experience rather than simply purchasing from a screen. Our showroom appointments are designed to give you the time to explore our equipment, experience the quality and movement for yourself, and ask questions before making your investment.
We look forward to welcoming you to The Reformer Shop.
